About the Tour
For those who like their safaris with a dash of surprise, Tipeshwar is a promise. Lesser known and raw, it remains an offbeat place for everyone who wishes to ditch the crowd and go somewhere quiet. This small sanctuary is a green oasis situated in Yavatmal district in eastern Maharashtra. It is one of the most important patches of forests that connects the Central Indian landscape to the jungles in Southern part of the country. The undulating terrain of Tipeshwar makes it a beautiful landscape to explore and observe wildlife

In recent past, Yavatmal district, and especially the Pandharkawda tehsil where Tipeshwar lies, has been at the center of one of the most publicized cases of human-animal conflict involving a tigress and her two cubs. With us, you will get to be a part of a detailed discussions regarding the conflict scenarios to understand the interaction between humans and wildlife in a better way. These interactions are critical in understanding the challenges of managing people in a landscape thriving with wild predators.

Important Note
- TIPPING –Local guides, jeep drivers, and resort staff play an important role in making your safari experience memorable. We encourage our campers to consider tipping them as a token of appreciation since it does not just reward them, but also supports their livelihood.
- Only a limited number of safari vehicles are allowed to enter the forest each day and available safari slots get full well in advance. It is advisable to plan 4 months in advance to get hassle free safari bookings in desired zones.
- Camp fees will be revised in case any changes are made by Forest Departments, guides, gypsy owners etc. in their fees.
- Any change in the dates will affect the camp fees since different safari rates are applicable for weekends and weekdays.
